Papyrus Paintings

These are paintings on papyrus, which was the world’s first proper writing surface. I went to a papyrus painting shop (a proper shop, not a stall like this one), and learnt more how papyrus is peeled into layers which weaved over each other and compressed, to form a papyrus paper! And guess what.. papyrus paper can be re-used several times!

Another evidence on how ancient men can be so advanced.. and creative.
