The chance of getting on a lorry does not occur every day in my life. So, when I found out that there was a mobile art exhibition on a lorry, I hopped on board (literally)! The exhibition, titled “Drive“, was part of Substation‘s 3rd Experimental Film Forum in Singapore.
During the 50-minute journey, participants could watch videos created specifically for “Drive” by artists on their assigned iPads. However, when the sound of the road began to overwhelm the videos’ audio, I gave up on the clips. I started to observe the changing scenery as the lorry weaved through the Kallang area, a tunnel (picture 1), highways (picture 2) and the Chinatown area (picture 3).
This would be the closest thing to a road trip in Singapore. Honestly,
it was a fun ride!
