Day 104: Count the Raindrops to Home

Ever since attending John Clang‘s photography masterclass three weeks ago, I have somewhat become reticent to shooting on the street. The thought of having no purpose or process when shooting has been troubling me. Over time, though, the urge to pick up the camera again has become too overwhelming. So, on my way home today, I decided to hold my camera in my hands. The rain didn’t stop me.

When Clang suggested that I marry my love for photography and cinema, I was caught in surprise. It made a lot of sense, yet the thought had never crossed my mind. So, for the past couple of weeks, I had been paying more attention to cinematography when watching films.

My visual shift towards the cinematic feel is still in progress. The journey has just begun, and I’m excited.
